CACS Executive Director Dakin Sloss and Research Analyst Evan Storms compared Assembly reporting on spending and salaries. The analysis reveals discrepancies in how expenditures are reported. Key findings include: 

  • underreported spending for $2.75 million
  • indications that personal staff was reported as committee, leadership, overhead, and caucus staff
  • released records are misleading as to which Assembly members spend the most
